  Troon : Profile

Docking

Positioned just north of Ayr, on the Firth of Clyde, Troon is one of the most sheltered harbours on the west coast of Scotland. With its close proximity to Glasgow (Prestwick) airport, fast ferry link to Ireland and good road and rail connections it is an excellent port of call.

Berthing is in the marina at the southern end of the harbour. All yachts should call on VHF 14 before leaving or entering the port. It is also advisable to call ahead to the marina and a berth will be allocated, otherwise berth at pontoon A and go to the office.
