There are several marinas and repair facilities in and around the capital Dublin, the best centres being at Dun Laoghaire (see separate page), Howth and Malahide.
The Howth Yacht Club marina has excellent docking facilities and its location is ideal for visiting Dublin. Good provisioning, fuel and LPG are available locally. The club offers temporary membership to those spending the winter here.

walk of the centre. The lifting bridge at the entrance
to the River Liffey opens for visiting boats at 9 am,11 am,
and 3 pm daily. Contact Port Control if in doubt.
Phone ahead to check ship movements and the lifting of the East Link Bridge. 20 visitors' berths. All facilities. Situated in the heart of the city. Good 24 hour security.
Reconstructed (2007) with larger pontoons installed are suitable for yachts up to 1,000 tons and 4.3 m draft.
