There is a squad of Customs and Immigration (Police) based here, but their availability for clearing in is erratic.
Customs (office up the hill, on the S side of the town) Tel:0590 28 41 19 It is not always possible to find them as they are not often in the office.
The breakwater here is 90m long, and T-shaped. The maximum draught is 1.5m.
At Anse Deshayes there is a useful mooring for boats continuing North.
