Docking

Basse Terre is the capital of Guadeloupe and is on the southern end of the island.

The marina is about a mile further south but the visitors' section is not in a good state of repair. It is possible to anchor just north of the entrance. The holding here is good, but take care to remain on the shallower bank as the water around it is very deep.

Marina Riviere Sens
Tel:(0) 590 81 77 61 , Fax:(0) 590 90 00 01, VHF Channel 16
The marina is about one mile south of the town. There is a visitor's dock, and fuel and water are available.
