 St Nazaire : Profile
Best known for its modern shipbuilding and the 2nd World war submaine pens. The town was completely destroyed during the war and has been rebuild in a rather nondescript style.
The large outer harbour is for cruise ships, and yachts use the lock to the east to pass into Bassin de St Nazaire.

Berth alongside the wall at the S end of the basin. The pontoons on the west side are officially for organised events. Long way from the town and limited repair services for yachts.
