Spanish Water : Profile
Boats may tie up to the reception dock at Seru Boca Marina, in the SW corner of Spanish Water or anchor off Sarifundy's Marina, west of the Curaçao Yacht Club. Customs no longer come to Spanish Water, yachts must now go to Punda in
town for clearance, and then to Immigration on the other side of the
river, in the cruise ship terminal area.
The entrance into Spanish Water is sometimes difficult to locate and should not be attempted at night.
Most visiting boats anchor in Spanish Waters Bay, which is well sheltered and free of charge. Yachts anchor off Sarifundy's Marina which is not in fact a marina but has a dinghy dock and offers a range of services to visiting yachts. The Curaçao Yacht Club is only open to members.
