Korcula : Profile
Ruputed to be the birthplace of Marco Polo, this is a very attractive, medieval town. It is on the southern end of the island of the same name. The island being the largest, forested island in the Adriatic.
The west quay provides better shelter in southerlies, than the marina, which is to the east of the town.

(42 57.6N 17 08.4E) It is protected by a breakwater on the northern side. The marina, which is open all year round,has
135 wet berths and 15 dry berths. Open all year port of entry.
Max depth 8m. Services, workshop, 10ton crane and slipway.
Currency exchange office, restaurant, toilets and showers, laundry service, grocery shop. Gas station approximately 0.5 miles east of harbour by the ferry pier.
