Docking

Marina Flamingo closed in July 2004. It is possible to anchor off and dinghy ashore near the old, broken pier. It is also reported that the chart for the area does not tally with GPS, so due care should be exercised. A new dock may be built but only for loading and unloading of passengers.

More comfortable anchorages can be found at Playa del Panama and Iguanita. From Playa del Panama it is possible to get a taxi to take you to Playa de Coco for clearance.

Another sheltered anchorage is the be found north of Bahia Cocos, at Bahia de Santa Elena.
