Natal is a pleasant port on the NE tip of Brazil with a good yacht club and a range of repair facilities. It is a good place to leave from for the Caribbean.

There is a good anchorage in front of the yacht club and also a good one at Rio Potengi.

Visiting yachtsmen welcomed. Good general repair facilities. Fuel, water, showers, pool and restaurant. The club can help with formalities. Check the website (servicios) for tide tables.
