  Morgans Bluff : Profile

Location

Morgan's Bluff at the north end of North Andros is used by the Water & Sewerage Corporation to barge fresh water over to New Providence. There is not much else here except for the regatta held in June. This is when it really comes alive - for one wild weekend!

Clearance

This is a port of entry.

Docking

The entrance is wide and deep, for there are big water tankers going in and out every day. Once you’re in the bay it stays quite deep (4m) up to a certain point. It's recommended to anchor in the shallower side of the bay as the big freighters turn in the dredged part of the bay.

Good anchorage in sand and grass. Good holding.

The government dock is off-limits to private boats.
