A new ebook ready to be downloaded from the internet is "Welcome to Durban" by Tony Herrick. The book contains all relevant information for sailors arriving in Durban.

Also available are "Southern African Cruising Notes - East to West" and "Cape to Caribbean Cruising Notes", also by Tony Herrick, see:

"Southern African Cruising Notes - East to West" will assist cruising yachts with passage planning for the Southern African east coast from the Mozambique/South Africa border to Cape Town. It has all the required information with photos, maps, diagrams, ports & approaches, lists of lights, lists of dangers, Agulhas current details, radio frequencies, anchorages, details of yacht clubs & marinas, local contact details, mini charts, observations by local and international cruisers, etc.

"Cape to Caribbean Cruising Notes" covers the coastal route from Cape Town to Walvis Bay with all the passage notes, ports and approaches, lists of lights and dangers, photos and diagrams. It then continues to cover the Atlantic crossing and then details the passage from N. Brazil on to Trinidad and Tobago.
