Cruising in Morocco was a wonderful
experience. The hospitality and the
friendship offered by all, makes sailing in
these beautiful and unspoilt
waters, a great pleasure.
During a month cruising I saw no other
yachts. At each port I was asked
why no one comes sailing there...? I was able
to clear in and out of all
ports with ease. Admittedly, on occasion it
took some time dealing with a
myriad of forms and uniforms. But it was fun
and completed with the utmost
courtesy. Even in the ports with a military
presence. Travel inland was easy
and fascinating. The yacht was always
unmolested as were we.
All in all a great experience. And yet there
is a general opinion that
Morrocco is still full of pirates and danger.
No for that, try ANNAPOLIS on
the east coast of USA!!
