In response to security concerns along the roadways in the area of the boatyards in Chaguramas, YSATT has implemented a Shuttle Service, specifically for cruising sailors commencing Thursday 11 October. Jesse James of Members Only Taxi Service will operate the service will be clearly marked "YSATT Shuttle."

The service is free of charge to all cruising sailors. It will operate seven days a week from 6:00pm to 12:00 midnight. Pick ups will take place at the security booths of each boatyard and the shuttle will not pick up or drop off sailors on the roadway between the pick up points.

This service is being run on an experimental basis and will be revised from time to time in the light of the experience. Although it is being introduced primarily as a security measure, YSATT also recognises that the shuttle will help to address the genuine transportation needs of sailors travelling between the boatyards and therefore will utilize the experimental period to determine the feasiblity of a long term service.
