Available to download as a pdf (38Mb) from the website for just 10 Euros.
Also available in a hardcover printed edition via the website.

Having sailed around the Bahamas for 2 years, John and Jolanda have compiled this excellent cruising guide, published in December 2008.

Featuring 116 pages of useful information, there is plenty of recommended anchorages, useful pilotage information between the islands, rough sketches for each location to aid navigation and photos where relevant, advice on seasonal weather conditions, routing advice for ocean passages to and from the Bahamas plus a great deal of up-to-date cruising information.

Sample pages can be viewed on the website.

The guide covers all the islands, north, central east, central west and southern Bahamas. As keen divers, John and Jolanda have also included top dive/snorkel sites in each area.

Although short on listings of local amenities for re-provisioning and finding you way about, the guide does provide a paragraph on local knowledge for each location and details on where it is necessary to stock up and where there are no facilities available.

If planning to cruise the Bahamas this season, this is one guide that will help you make the most of the time you have, in particular during busy season when you want to get away from the crowds and find some peaceful solitude. For those not planning a visit due to fear of depth restrictions and lack of hurricane shelter, this guide will ally those fears and demonstrate what a shame it would be to miss out on some time spent cruising this beautiful area.
