Marées dans Le Monde

This is an excellent piece of freeware produced by Jacques Tiphine, a member of a French cruising association called ‘Sail-The-World’. It has been developed over the last 10 years and this latest version is now available in English.

It covers over 9,600 ports worldwide. For each port you can select (and file) tide tables for your chosen period, view tidal graphs in real time, select the time zone you wish to use, and see a selected list of ports within a specified radius. The source of the data, the lat/long and the standard port used are all displayed. Additional data available includes current depth, and, if your draft and chosen safety margin selected, the times at which the port is accessible if it is a drying harbour.

You can download this software from www.stw.fr/DT/display_dt.cfm?dt=3622

And try it for yourself.

Our thanks to Jacques for notifying Noonsite of this most useful the piece of software.
