Additional Information Regarding South African Visas

When in Mauritius, the South African Embassy now refuses to take visa applications for non Mauritian residents. They claim the visa request HAS to be made in the country of origin for those that require a visa.

In our case, and after long pleading our application was accepted, and sent to the South African embassy in Kuala Lumpur (the applicant is Malaysian), but as a result the visa process takes a lot longer than the 5 days it should take.
