Checking-in in Guadeloupe Just got Easier

When arriving in Guadeloupe, yachtsmen need not go to several government offices to check-in anymore (unless they are nostalgia calls). Several stores and harbor master offices provide forms you can complete and have faxed to customs for the low low price of 2 Euros. The Customs office will fax back a stamped copy of the form 15 minutes later! No more long lines and multiple forms to fill out. I used the harbor master’s office at Bas du Fort but have been told the service is available in most major anchorages around the island.
