The main wharf has a crane which is used to lift the dinghy out of the water. You will need a harness to lift your dinghy. There is no other access to shore. There is no charge for using the crane and operation is simple. At times the crane or wharf will be unavailable but the Niue Yacht Club will broadcast a message, usually a day in advance. Do not attempt to tie up to the wharf as the surge makes this dangerous.
Water is available at the wharf. Fuel is available but not at the wharf. Adequate provisioning, especially fruits and vegetables are available. Laundry service is also available. Free internet service is provided, either on shore or through an excellent wireless lan at your mooring.
Niue Yacht Club is an excellent host for visiting yachts. Country information of every sort is supplied upon request and they will provide weather warnings and marine information as required. The mooring balls are owned by the Niue Yacht Club and are available on a first come basis. Additional moorings were planned.
