All sailors cruising the Med this year, May to October, are welcome to participate in the Med Net, up and running since May. Any sailors who wish to join the Net should tune in to:

NEW HF Frequency 8131 kHz at 0530 UTC

The primary frequency has been changed due to excessive interference. 8122 kHz and 8104 kHz are now backup frequencies.

The purpose of the Net is to to give position reports, help cruisers to stay in touch, discuss weather and to share any other useful information. We will also assist with emergencies and problems where possible.

Find out more about the Med Net here.
