New Clearance Fees Being Implemented

Hi Noonsite,

We just had our first "test case" arrive here in Bahia del Sol yesterday.

The Port Authority (AMP) charged them (the arriving yacht) $1/day. They paid for 30 days so it was $30. After that they didn't say if you had to pay (like get an extension) again, but I would guess that at least you would have to pay for your time in the country when you requested your exit papers.

Even though it is not law it seems that they are already implementing the new agreement.
