For a "Telegraph" article about the shipwreck and life on MogMog, reported in March 2010, see here.

The Barrie family, mum, dad and two children, are shipwrecked on the island of MogMog. Their plan is to repair their sailboat (a cat) and continue with their family cruise.

The Seven Seas Cruising Association (SSCA) Cruising Station host on Guam, Randy Reeves, [email protected], has been contacted by the family and is assisting with parts and supplies as he is able.

The family is living on the lsland and expect to be there for the next six months as they work on the boat doing fiberglass, electronic, rudder, engine and sail repairs.
