Clarification of Portuguese Circulation Tax 2010

You'll see from this link that Lagos Navigators have received written confirmation from Finanças in Lisbon, that Boat Tax is only payable if the boat is in Portugal for a CONTINUOUS PERIOD OF 183 DAYS in any tax year.

Until today (Friday February 12th 2010) Lagos Navigators had been told that the 183 day count was cumulative across a tax year. Matin Northey's article (to which you link) has been correct all along.
