Repair Facilities in Singapore

Dear Noonsite,

This is Rune Ellingsen from the Norwegian yacht Underveis (www.underveis.net. I am currently in Singapore, and have undertaken some repairs here. The prices are high, and the yard at Raffles marina is unhelpful, very expensive and unprofessional. (The marina itself is one of the best I have ever been to, and is most highly recommended, by the way).

I was put into contact with a repairs workshop that services ships, oil rigs, yachts and the whole range. It is called Northman Services, and is located in the Tuas region on the west side of Singapore.

They were swift, cheap and very professional when they were helping me with my rig and some other problems I had on my yacht.

I thought you might post their contact data on noonsite, as there are a great many yachts coming through via Singapore every year, in need of competent yard facilities.
