Sea of Cortez

Please be aware of the following and update your chart / guide books accordingly;

1. Aqua Verde - An abandoned schooner was reported sunk in the north anchorage.
   Update December 2009
   This vessel was refloated during the summer and removed to Puerto Escondido. It is no longer an obstruction.
   
   
2. Animas East Anchorage - Pacific Voyager has reported hooking their anchor on a large abandoned anchor in the East Bay anchorage of Animas Bay. They reported the anchor to be in the anchorage in about 24 feet of water at a position 28 49.192N 113 17.274W.
