The Amazon - Cruising Information Wanted

I am seeking information to plan a cruise up the coast of Brazil, including the Amazon. LONE STAR is a sixty foot ketch cutter with a seven foot depth. I prefer marinas over anchorages if possible.

Please contact me if you can provide information on the best time to visit the Amazon for a short time. Any suggestions in regard to ports of call, times of year etc. are greatly appreciated.
