Theft at Port Elizabeth, Bequia

Six of us went to shore for supper after arriving from Blue Lagoon aboard a Sun Sail yacht. As pre-warned by the charter company, we locked up except for two small hatches deemed too small for access.

Upon our return someone had gained entrance and stolen money & a cell phone. As the money was substantial we reported the theft to the Police and they prepared a report. The Charter Co. provided a better padlock & another cell phone.

Just to let other sailors know that they should be aware of the problem in this paridise anchorage..
