What Sonar Unit for an Aluminium Boat?

I'm getting my boat ready for a long cruise.

It’s an ex BOC 50' Alloy mast head cutter and I would like to install a sonar unit after reading Cornell's book (Passion for the Sea). The problem is that my boat is aluminium and skin fittings are bronze. I would like to know which brand and model of unit Jimmy is using in his boat and how he over came the problem.

My forward looking sonar is made by Echopilot and they made a special bronze fitting for my transducer. Contact them and tell them you want the same as mine.
