CROATIA: Update on Clearance Procedure

Sailors clearing in or out of Croatia at Gruz (the commercial harbour of Dubrovnik), are strongly advised not to use this port during the high season as yachts have been waiting for several hours to complete formaities.

The Customs quay is under great demand from cruise ships and ferries and yachts take second place.

Customs advise sailors to use instead the port of Cavtat (42 deg 34.90' 18 deg 13.50') a few miles south of Dubrovnik.

Cavtat is an official port of entry with full clearance facilities.
