New Marina at Rabat, Morocco - Update

Just to let you know that we have visited the new marina at Rabat, Morocco.

It is very early days as yet. The pontoons are all established with power and water although they are a little small for larger vessels. The marina is situated on the North of the river at Sale, which is a fair walk to Rabat.

There is still a lot of construction work going on here and once finished, I am assured that there will be ample facilities. There is a supermarket on the South of the river with plans for a new one by the marina. The Yacht Club, or Club Nautique, is about a twenty minute walk along the North Bank and is one of the most palatial I have seen, with a splendid cuisine.

No fuel pontoon as yet although one is planned. Fuel can be obtained in cans from the local filling station.
