Yes, it's that time of the year to sweep off the dust and polish the deck... and showcase your beautiful "ladies" in this annual classic event held at Raffles Marina. You are hereby cordially invited to participate in the Singapore National Day - Classic Boat Regatta.

Once again, we are fortunate to have the support of the Royal Selangor for this fabulous event.

Details of the event are as follow:
Date: 9 August 2008, Saturday
Event theme: Olympic
Boats and crews must be dressed in Classic Victorian Olympic Costume.
Entry fee: SGD100/yacht

Programme:
Skippers' briefing: 1200hrs
Yacht/Crew Inspection: 1230hrs
Race start: 1400hrs (after all yachts are ready to sail)
Prize-giving: approximately 1700hrs
Refreshment is provided.

The "Royal Selangor - Classic Boat Regatta" Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the classic yacht that completes the race with the lowest PY corrected elapsed time. All yachts will be given non-negotiable PY number by the Race Organising Committee. The Challenge Trophy will be retained by Raffles Marina, and the winning yachts name will be engraved on the cup.

All non-resident yachts participating in the Classic Boat Regatta will receive complimentary berthing from 1 August through 17 August ‘08. In addition, please do also view this as an invitation to the 11th Western Circuit Sailing Regatta that is on the 17th, 24th & 30th August.
