Credit Card Fraud Reported From Grenada Also

Following Noonsite's news items about sailors' credit card details being stolen from an ATM machine in English Harbour, Antigua, we have been contacted with a similar report from Grenada:

"Similar to what is apparently happening in Antigua, we had our ATM card information copied as well (April 2008). A device must have been inserted to the Novia Scotia ATM machine (in Grand Anse) which copied our debit card # and pin. After midnight, the person withdrew our max of $1,000EC. Lucky for us, they tried to keep withdrawing $ the same day which alerted our bank to a problem, and they froze the card until we could be contacted. The local bank seemed concerned, but we're not sure what, if any, action they took.
