Maybe anyone could give advice on which route to take in French channels: from Nijmegen (Netherkands) to Chalon sur Saone (beginning of Rhone to Med) there are 3 different routes:
(1) via Meuse chanal (Namur-Neuves Maisons), Vosges canal to Chalon sur Saone.
(2) up Rhein to Koblenz, then Mosel canal to Neuves Maisons, Vosges canal to Chalon sur Saone.
(3) all the way up Rhein to Mulhouse then Rhone au Rhin canal to Chalon sur Saone.

Which way would you recomend and what are disadvantages of other options?
What is the situation regarding tolls and fees in Belgium, Germany? is it one sticker (vignette) or other separate fees collected?

Best regards and will appreciate any comments and information
