By the end of November 2007 Sail Indonesia had over 200 expressions of interest for 2008.

The Sail Indonesia Yacht Rally departs Darwin, Australia, for Kupang on July 26 2008 and then on to Singapore and Malaysia.

YCBI (the Indonesian Marine Foundation) have opened up a second rally route for 2008 through Saumlaki, Banda, Ambon and onto Manado in North Sulawesi to link up with Sail Bunaken, see http:sailbunaken2009.com/index.php
