The Italian sailing magazine BOLINA and nautical publisher Editrice Incontri Nautici have issued a wide-ranging cruising guide for the Central Mediterranean that provides a comprehensive description of all ports and marinas from St Tropez and the Cote d’Azur in France, in the west, passing through Tunisia, Corsica, Sardinia and the Italian mainland, and all the way to the Greek Ionian Islands in the east. The Adriatic is fully covered, both the Italian ports and those in Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro and Albania. Every entry includes a plan and a brief description of the port or marina, and lists all essential practical information: coordinates, website, email address and phone numbers, number of berths, type of mooring, maximum draft, fuel, repair and general facilities.

Although written in Italian, the basic information is easy to understand. This excellently produced and well researched guide is a useful aid for anyone planning to cruise in any of the countries covered, or even just passing through that area.
