Honduras Marina Owner Killed

Toni Vorleiter who built Lagoon Marina was murdered in La Ceiba Honduras the night of September 16. His daughter is in ICU with a neck wound but is doing well. His wife Rita and his son were unhurt. The reasons for the attack are unclear.

Richard Adamson who knew the family well having kept his yacht at Lagoon Marina for a year, writes: "A senseless waste of a wonderful guy and a tragedy for his family."

Lagoon Marina was managed by Tony and Rita, who settled down in the area having cruised previously on their own boat.
