Celebrate the seventh annual Summer Sailstice with sailors worldwide on the weekend of June 23/24 - the longest sailing weekend days of the year. Begun in 2001, Summer Sailstice was created as a holiday just for sailors to be celebrated wherever you sail in the Northern Hemisphere. To participate sailors need to simply sign up at www.summersailstice.com
and then go sailing on the weekend of June 23/24. The
website allows you to post your sailing plans, invite others or see what other sailors are doing in your area. Whether you've just launched the boat and are taking the summer's maiden voyage or you're in the middle of your racing season you can sign up to be part of this global celebration of sail.
By signing up you're also eligible to win prizes donated by The Moorings, Hunter Marine, West Marine, Hobie, Offshore Saiing, Sunsail and many of your favorite marine businesses. Prizes include a one-week BVI charter with the Moorings, a Hobie Kayak, an Achilles Inflatable and over 200 other prizes. Sign up early and plan to get together with friends and family to celebrate life under sail on June 23/24. For more information email

New for 2007 - join us in a virtual circumnavigation to save the seven seas! Summer
Sailstice has teamed up with The Ocean Conservancy to help inform and mobilize sailors in
support of ocean conservation. Join the celebration and support healthy seas as you sail.
Sail Locally, Celebrate Globally
Thanks in advance for your support and we hope you can "join us" for a sail and
celebration on Summer Sailstice 2007.
Fair Winds,
