Queries Already Coming In For 2007 Darwin Kupang Rally

By December 1 Rally organisers Sail Indonesia had already received 114 requests for the 2007 Darwin to Kupang, Indonesia Rally compared to only 42 at the same time last year.

Entry forms will be sent out in March 2007 in the order that requests for entry papers were received so if intending participants want to be sure of a place in the rally please email the organisers as soon as possible.

The Rally finished the first week of December in Langkawi after the final leg from Singapore to Langkawi and the closing ceremony and the opening of the Langkawi International Boat Exibition was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. The participants were welcomed with a number of cultural displays and a final dinner, a tour of the island was provided and the participants are now looking foward to taking it easy after their 4 month journey across 4 countries.
