Erie Canal Charges Waived For 2007

In an effort to draw more tourists and holiday makers to the 524-mile waterway, the New York State Canal Corporation Board has voted to waive recreational boating tolls for the 2007 navigation season. This means for the Erie Canal all tolls for recreational boaters have been waived for 2007.
