Our guide information about Punta Hermosa contains several NOTES. First, we suggest that people check Google Earth for all of the anchorages along the coast. There are many great satellite pictures of all of the anchorages - particularly Punta Hermosa which has a growing sandspit (one should navigate another mile to the south west before turning east to the red cliffs). Next, our guide also has a NOTE "Be very careful navigating in this area."
The guide mentions waypoints from 3.5 years ago. This is a growing sandpit. I must say that if anyone navigates by waypoints only and "not by eyesight" then one could get into trouble.
I am working on a complete update of our guide and will let you know when it is available.

PIZAZZ has put together cruising information for the
Colombia coast. This "guide" gives information about
anchorages, weather, safety, and all essential information
about cruising the Colombia coast.
Anyone interested in this information can send an email to
us at sy_pizazz@yahoo.com
You must have a land-based address to receive the large files. We have a guide and 3 chartlets.
The Colombia coast is full of good anchorages and friendly
people. A new place to enjoy.
