Posts on Noonsite about a "Wealth Tax" are slightly misleading. The 12% tax is more like an importation tax - if you bring a boat into Spanish waters and are there (in Spain) for more than 185 days (approx.) in total (i.e not consecutively) during a year then you may be liable.
