The 3rd edition of the Norwegian Cruising Guide has been made available in a Prerelease Version as an E-book in time for anyone wishing to cruise Norway this summer season.

Based on earlier editions by Mark Brackenbury and John Armitage, the guide has been thoroughly updated by John Harries & Phyllis Nickel who draw on 15 years and 100,000 miles of North Atlantic cruising. It covers the coasts of Norway, Svalbard (Spitsbergen) and Bjørnøya (Bear Island) as well the SW coast of Sweden.

There is a volume on "General Cruising Information" which includes tips on cruising northern destinations, as well as a "Harbours and Anchorages" volume which allows you to print out those places you are interested in. 700 ports and anchorages are described, with planning maps and many colour photographs.

A final version of the guide is due to be released in the summer of 2006 as an E-book. (A decision has not yet been taken whether to produce a printed version). Meanwhile the Prerelease Version can be purchased for 10 Euros and downloaded at http://www.morganscloud.com/norway_guide/norcruguide.htm

Buyers of the prerelease version will be able to upgrade to the final version and any intermediate prerelease versions of the 3rd Edition eBook for free.
