New Marina Facility at Boca Chica, Chiriqui

A new marina facility is under construction in Boca Chica, on the Pacific coast of Panama, half an hour by boat from Pedregal, Panama or 1 hour by car from David, Panama. The owners are Mack and Mary Robertson, who own and operate Careening Cay Marina in Bocas del Toro, Panama. The new full service marina will have 60 slips for yachts up to 120 feet with shore power, water, cable TV and Internet access. Other services include communal kitchen & dining area, air-conditioned facilities building, office and yacht maintenance programs.

Phase one is scheduled to be completed in December 2007 (not 2006 as previously reported), which consists of the construction of the main dock plus 20 slips, the community kitchen and the office. They will soon also be offering marina slip leases and customized floating dock construction.
