I am planning to take my boat from the Caribbean (Tortola) to Hong Kong, hopefully start out next month (March). Can someone help me in suggesting which route to take and what time are we looking at.

Thank you in advance, Graham Harris

The best way to go is transit the Panama Canal and head for Hawaii. You can do it direct, or via Galapagos. Details of this route can be found in my book World Cruising Routes. From Hawaii the direct route goes via Marshalls, some Micronesian islands, Guam, possibly Palau, possibly Philippines and Hong Kong. You must watch for typhoons after Guam especially between July and October.
