The Noonsite report that yachts arriving in Panama were having to wait up to 30 days for a transit slot is no longer the case, according to the Match Ship agency and Noonsite Editor Dave Wilson. The wait for a transit through the canal is now about 7 days. **Report received 25 March 2006: Your information is misleading.
