Once you have overcome the complicated formalities, Xiamen is an excellent yacht stop. All the repair facilities you could ever want. We got varnish work done there at 15% cost of the USA ... and it is a beautiful safe city. It was our favourite stop in China.

Shanghai & Fuzhou were much more challenging as we were just tied to rusty barges, having to put up with huge wakes from the military boats made it quite dangerous for the boat.
