New Marina Opens In Penang

What has arisen to take the Old Church Pier place is the new city marina in Penang called Tanjong City Marina. The marina is managed by the Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB) and offers berthing facilities for 140 smaller boats vessels and 20 berths for superyachts. The marina is available all year round to both visitors and local boat owners. The Georgetown city business district is readily accessible by foot from the marina.

For a start the berthing fee will be at RM4.00 per metre with a special discount. The marina at present provides basic facilities such as electricity and water supplies. Other facilities will be ready by end of the year.
