ARC 2005 Event Website Launched

Sporting a fresh new look and simple navigation, the official ARC 2005 website has now been launched, ready for the departure of ARC 2005 in two weeks time.

Visit http://www.worldcruising.com/arc2005 to read ARC news, feature stories, yacht logs and crew profiles from this year's ARC and browse the picture gallery.

Once the fleet sets sail on 20 November, the site will display the latest yacht positions and Atlantic weather, enabling families, friends, supporters and media to follow the progress of the 230 yachts as they cross to St.Lucia. New sharper maps, satellite and weather overlays will enhance the experience for everyone following the ARC.

There are 230 entries in this year's ARC which starts from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on Sunday 20 November at 12:40, and finishes at Rodney Bay, St.Lucia. Results will be published on the event website after the Prizegiving on Saturday 17 December.
