There is a new option for those who would like to take their boats from Atlantic to Pacific Coast of Guatemala or viceversa: Carlos one of the locals in Rio Dulce has a trailor that will haul small boats out. He'll take your boat across to the other coast by land. SV Bravo and SV Lany Lee were the test pilots, and I think they were satisfied with the results. It beats having to go all the way down to Panama, if you are in a hurry!
