I am very happy to report a more and more positive attitude towards cruising sailors and everyone visiting French Polynesia by boat (motoryachts and cruiseships too). Most businesses start to realize the economic impact of sailors spending many months in these islands. Many also understand some of the difficulties we go through just to get here and want to thank us for our efforts. I am pleased to report that many companies sponsoring Noonsite offer something special to all "noonsite" sailors: some dive centers in Tahiti and Moorea offer between 10% and 20% discounts, some restaurants offer a free cocktail, others give special "noonsite" prices, and all try their best to offer the best service to all of us.
