We had a fantastic time in Vanuatu, its now possible to clear into Tanna at Port Resolution, the southernmost island, which has an amazing live volcano, great culture and good anchoring. This is beneficial as the prevailing SE trades make a beat from Vila a miserable prospect. Entry/Exit into Vanuatu is now possible at Sola in the Banks Islands, Port Resolution and Lennakal in Tanna, Port Vila and Luganville. We returned in late October 2002 to Bundaberg, Australia with the organised Port-to-Port fun rally from Port Vila / Luganville and Noumea. Participation in this greatly eases custom/immigration hassles into Australia.
